My dad transitioned on December 1, and since then I’ve been playing his guitar—the first guitar I ever remember playing real music on.
He taught me a few blues licks and chords when I was young. Sitting with this guitar again, I can feel his presence and energy. A lot of ideas surfaced while playing it, but this one stayed long enough to record.
It’s simple, reflective, and very much in the moment.
